jason those glutes firing or what dude how's squat tober going just got done with day uh i forget what day we're on but yeah got some zurchers in it was kind of a deload day i'm sorry some scissors zurcher squat are you aware of zurcha squat no what's the difference between a regular squat and a zurchus or squat you know front squat is racked on the front of your shoulders right back squat racked behind your head zurchar you have racked in your arms so it's kind of like even more forward oh yeah man that's got to be a hell of a core workout personally i like doing back squat and zurcher part of that's because i can't adequately rack a front squat my elbows and shoulders are all up so i can'T even do the proper positioning for it the funniest story i um i got to tell some friends today was that i got a call at 7 30 in the morning i knew jason was doing squat tober he actually asked me how much weight i have in my basement uh 92 percenters it's true i didn't even add it up i just told him like how much how many plates and he was like oh okay cool i'll i'll bring some so he flew to kansas city with with what was it 50 pounds yeah it's 225s yeah a couple extra plates to throw on the old squat bar and uh it was absolutely hilarious the most meathead thing i think i've ever seen jason do i get a call at 7 30 in the morning and i'm in my mind i'm thinking worst case scenario i'm like oh shit is everything okay i maybe have to run jason to a hospital he just blew his knee out or something i don't know what i was worst case scenario fight like the brain was just waking up and i was like fucking things were firing like oh you okay and jay's like yeah can you come school can you go spot me i was just like no way i got my ankle wrapped he's like no no no it's a bench it's bench it doesn't squat about oh all right cool because i wouldn't be able to save you if it was a fucking back squat no all right cool yeah i'll come down i'm like walking out of the room and taylor's like this is fucked up i'm just like no it'll be good welcome back to new heights ladies and gentlemen boys and girls a wondry show brought to you by nike how about it got the cc's right there we're your hosts i'm travis kelsey my big brother jason kelsey out of cleveland heights ohio shout out to university of cincinnati all our bear cats out there and uh you know what shout out for where jason tells you what we got coming up well 92 percenters we're going to talk about the chiefs staying unbeaten in arrowhead with the chargers as well as the new heights tailgate that occurred before the game in the parking lot uh we were all there in arrowheads this weekend it was a blast we're then going to be talking about the eagles situation as well is what's going on with unfortunately jalen hurts and uh also the rest of the week six around the nfl before we get into to that we're always going to get into some of that new news new news is brought to you by reese's that's right yeah so uh pat and i uh we we had some smelling salts before the game i hadn't done a smelling salt in a sorry what's that that's a crazy statement to start off with new news man does it get the juices going oh go straight to the fucking brain hell yeah there's no way it's good for you i mean it has to be eyes watering a little bit of course notice who's not doing this a little coffee just a little copy pass a psycho i love that dude every now and then you need to just get a good reminder of playing ball man the d-line used to take probably 40 of those things and just like one by one put them in a water bottle and then put the top on then you take that water bottle off and say i mean it was easily destroying your nasal cap cavity but you don't even have to put it up to like the brim of it you could just kind of just keep it right here right here and immediately just eyes and just brain activity just yes shit's firing you're ready to rock get you fired up i'd usually do it before first half and before the second half started oh a little second half i just need one for the first i'm ready to get rock and roll from there but yeah it had been a while it was it was a good little reminder i i definitely enjoyed it and um hated it all at the same time isn't that football uh it's the best josh allen was chewing smelling salts what's this brandon no he wasn't chewing him he was just holding it in right here in his teeth i think i think I saw this I think I've actually seen him do it a few times yeah well he's he's warming up the arm he's like I'm not gonna waste I'm gonna waste it before I go i'm gonna yeah you wait till the last possible second yeah yeah yeah ball player ball player right there there's definitely got to be some residual effect but man are they great god they're so fun i don't yeah man you can't question it man well you can you can question it there's probably doctors out there that do but whatever so i'm playing football i'm already doing something let me just go yeah it's just like uh smelling caffeine dude that's all it is we also got a lot of responses for tomlin's take on team meetings tory smith one of the top three worst decisions i've made was to call a team meeting it made the problems 10 times worse um shout out to tory man tory is the best he's one of my favorite teammates i ever played with you could tell he's a great teammate man the players meeting yeah listen we've all done them like we've always been actually you might not have been done one you might be the only maybe did one in college but you definitely haven't done one in kc i mean here's the thing they happen with good intentions usually but i disagree i think what tomlin said is perfect it's usually for optics it's like hey we're at the point where like we've lost all hope so we're going to call players only meeting to try and right the ship and get everybody bought back in and most of the time it's you know i i just don't know how much it's accomplishing i don't philadelphia is probably one week away from players meeting might happen this week it's i just yeah that's uh ryan pegnetti had an interesting tweet i was gonna say we have to bring it was actually hilarious it was absolutely brilliant and to be honest kind of eye-opening on do they maybe do they work they don't not work as aggressive as i thought they didn't they don'T work really in any statistical significant way long term long term the the the way that they potentially work is the first game after a players team meeting it does appear that there is some statistical data to support that first game after a players-led team meeting being a little bit better against the spread like the team performs slightly above what they are expected to do yeah they cover the spread 63 percent of the time after a player team meeting but yeah great work by ryan pegnetti our uh senior correspondent of analytics or numbers uh that's it for new news brought to you by reese's all right now let's get you some bold topics brought toyou by american express ha ha ha all right jason yeah you want to start us off with yeah let's do it chiefs 22 chargers 6 um tram how'd you feel about the game man but uh man a lot of our defense our defense is flying around right now man they are flying around that's uh i think we had four or five sacks this week a lot a lot pressures um a lot of pbus it was just it was it was electric to feel the crowd get behind them there were two or three drives there in the third and fourth quarter i forget which one it was where you that all of a sudden i'm on the bench i hear the fuck i hear the crowd get rocking it at arrowhead where i had to get up and like start to get rowdy with them and it's just you know it's uh it's moments like those that you just i just love playing at arrowheads man i love having it as as our home field advantage and they ended up having to call a timeout i think it was when they were backed up on about the one yard line i think we we fell up we fell short um as an offense getting a touchdown on fourth down um and they had it on the one yard line and sure enough man And I was on the bench like, fuck, man, we got to find a way to get that ball in that end zone. And then and the crowd just snapped me right out of it, man. And our defense is rocking, man? All the all the speculation about losing a guy like Trent McDuffie. That's the one that stood out to me in the game. Like, dude, we talked about it afterwards. That kid Williams, man knows a fucking dog, man and and he's a ballplayer, man unfortunately had had some stuff go go down where you can't you got banged up a little bit early on but fought through it man i just love fucking i love guys that love ball and they're just tough as nails man yeah when you have corners that aren't afraid to commit themselves and tackle the running back and and commit to the running game as well and are good in coverage like those guys are valuable as hell man he had that one play i think they're trying to run like a toss crack or some outside play and he under he knifed under the uh the pulling or kick out player yeah and made the tackle for loss and then also made a bunch of plays in the back end but jerry sneed is back to playing really really good football for you guys monsoor delane like spags we should have known like a spag he's gonna get those guys to play really well but that was a question mark and they have answered that one for sure nick bolton had a fourth quarter that i'll i don't remember the specific plays outside of that last fumble that uh that they had that drew tranquil jumped on but man it just felt like every single play that a guy on the chargers got the ball and nick bolton was clotheslining them or de-cleating them or just getting a good fucking solid like smack on him and it just fell it felt like he was flying all over the place man that guy doesn't get enough credit for for being the staple that that makes the entire engine run over there on the defensive side with him being the uh the sigma caller and it's just you know it's it's fun playing with an amazing defense especially when you know we finally get some things rocking on the offensive side and get some touchdowns but um you know, we we struggled a little bit um by self-inflicting wounds and and just like small stuff here and there that we we got to keep getting better at and um and we will and we Will because we're we're going to go to work but man it's um it's a fun team to play on right now man when everybody's getting a piece of the pie and everybody's contributing what's interesting is one of the areas that were probably the underperformances was like three possessions inside the two yard line only one touchdown it's surprising too because typically teams that run the ball really well they get in the end like that's where you need to run the football those windows in the passing game are so tight down there you're trying to develop like pick routes in any type of way you can get any kind of leverage but with a guy like k9 like you would think with the way the offensive line has been blocking too we'd be getting more points out of those situations we got to keep finding ways to score touchdowns and it's and it'S like you said it'S that short yardage it'S not the big red zone uh it'S it'S inside that five yard line we're getting all the way down there yeah we got to be able to fucking punch it in especially if coach reed's gonna put it on us on fourth down um no matter who's out out there on the field that play is called man we fucking execute the playing we find a way to grit ourselves into that end zone man um and that's got to be the fucking mentality and and it will be well uh you were also given some mentality to the rookie cyrus allen fellow bearcat we got you hyping him up in the tunnel here let's play that clip oh pregame pregame nice pregame yeah this is just me saying what's up to everybody before the game um what is this what is this it's all right it's all good it's so good i mean it was my it was my guy cyrus's uh i believe it was his first time running out of the tunnel getting his name called in the nfl man which is a pretty cool fucking feeling uh and i sure as hell you know relish in it every time i get the opportunity to run out in front of arrowhead and get introduced so i was just going up to him to ask him if he's got anything for the crowd he was gonna give anybody give like i don't know his signature move or anything cool or um and he was just excited to you know ready to play football and get the opportunity he knew that we were going to have to lean on him a little bit in the passing game he got two two receptions for 27 yards one big one after we had a penalty there and i believe the the third or fourth quarter and uh yeah man i'm just i'm i'm happy for that guy he's uh he's a hard worker obviously a bearcat a fellow bearcat but um who he's been in the building it's been awesome to see him just transform into you know being somebody accountable to go out there and help us win ball games man that's right baby he was accountable this week two for two 27 yards made the most of his opportunities kenneth walker also pretty accountable 19 carries for 128 yards two touchdowns i think he averaged like 6.7 yards a carry let's take a look at his first touchdown give nine the ball been saying that shit since he came into kansas city kelsey is in walker i mean completely dead pause it right there chiefs are trying to run counter and it is just blown up the tackle uh who is that is that benson he kind of gets pierced on the back side i mean we got we got some we got som uh what is it some uh defensive push there on just about every gap right there's just logged up the problem is they're slant in the front and Benson I don't know if you knew it go back to the start let me see this let me see if they can tell that the guard is pulling sometimes it makes it hard on that gap seal funnel block by the tackle that tackle has got to go down there and try and prevent that guy from getting that gets penetration everybody else is getting knocked back to him his play is fucked I think the movement kind of fucked up a lot of guys on this one it's a a miracle that he got in but this is why you pay the guy all the money there you go the guy's got crazy instincts man it's plays like this where it's like we have what it we have what it takes even when you know they got us you know we still have what it tastes in the guys to be able to find a way to get the ball in the end zone we just got to keep doing it how about patty but homes right there throwing a little shoulder yeah i mean yeah he probably doesn't he probably does a score if he doesn't do that all you need to go pat and uh kevin harley giving me some love uh for blocking i didn't block a soul kev but i love you man thank you for that the dn knife the tackle creed's getting they were they must have been slanting hard on the backside because those guys didn't look like they're ready for it anyways whatever it's a touchdown let's see the second touchdown hopefully that one's prettier and walker the call fighting to get oh there we go exact same place smith oh i love it oh it's so good trey smith on the pull and that's that is a big son that is a mean man five two that he's pulling at the blitz and a db off the end of the line and usually the end is spiking so hard it's impossible for the guard to kick it out but trey Smith meets this thing head on with Khalil Mack right here, play it. And he makes this play because that end is he's trying to spill it. Like if the, if the end gets under Trey here, the ball is going to spill right to zero. Who's on the end of the line. Trey does a great job of maintaining hat placement and fitness thing outside. Actually, I'd like us had a little bit more inside, but either way, I'm not going to knock it that much because it's effective at the end of the day, man, you do hit a guy hard enough and then he gets the pancake on top of it. A little bit on top himself too. You know, I mean, it's hard to tackle somebody with a body when you're on the ground, baby. And a canine with the ability to separate, man. Tradesman playing great. Kingsley, I know he was suspended last week, came back, had a good game this week. Hell yeah. When you have a back as good as Kenneth is, like as good Aswalker is, it really makes you feel like you're going to be successful as a blocker too. Oh, yeah. Like that energy, it'S not just like because he's running hard. It's because no matter what you do, he finds a wide a way to make you right like i just knew when i was pulling out and i had shady or darren sproles behind me it didn't matter what the linebacker did if he went this way or this way exactly and like walker just has that kind of feel where it makes you more confident as an offensive lineman and those guys are playing great as a result as well the biggest thing that's been crazy is how much the chiefs offense have shifted right like you did it the first game but it stayed consistent right now through these first six weeks what went into changing how the chiefs have been their identity all around one player in kenneth walker draft and don't get me wrong the offense is it's it's still a very similar offense it just kind of tweaks over the years just in certain in certain scenarios yeah i would i would say i would the playbook doesn't change like a lot of these plays you guys are running you guys have run for years that's what i'm saying But the identity is different. You guys are more under center than you've ever been. You're running more than you're ever run. Like, it is a different offense of what's being called. But that's one of the beautiful things about Andy Reid is all of it's in the playbook. And he's going to call what is the best suited to the guys that he has available or what he thinks is the most suitable. What is the one that's the best-suited for it. Exactly. And to be honest, dating back to when we had a guy like Jamal Charles back in my early years of my career, a lot of under center, a lot of downhill outside zone that highlighted Jamal's ability to get downhill and weave and make the cuts that only Jamal Charles could make. And a lot OF this is putting Kenneth in a position that showcases his talents. And it's just – it's great run game coordinator. Coach Heck is unbelievable. Obviously, Bien-Ami coming from Chicago and under Ben Johnson, I'm sure has only made him even more of a piece in the run game in terms of creating it. And week in, week out, we're getting opportunities to not only run off the ball as an offensive unit and see how we're going to attack guys and do that in the running game, but then have passing plays within those formations that complement those run games that are really opening things up for guys like xavier worthy to have unbelievable day guy like jaylen royals have a great day and no and noah gray have a good day oh so it's like the it's just complimenting it and and making us a a really a all-around uh you know kind of just feels like it's a more in sync offense that it than it definitely was last year so it'S fun to be a part of it and it'S fund to see all the new success that we're having knowing that you know a couple guys went down and um and and kenneth being And it's his first year here in Kansas City. I just think, too, like Andy is such a matchup-driven coach. Like he's very good at finding pieces that he wants to do certain things on the football field. Like not just what they were doing with Kenneth Walker this week, but what they're doing with Xavier Worthy, right? In years past, what they would do with Tyree Kill, what they Would do with Hartman. I feel like Andy always is trying to run an offense that's skilled and suited for the guys that he has. right and now that they have that piece and they feels like they wanted to go get that piece because they felt like they were missing it he's putting everything around them and that's opening things up like you're saying for all these other guys to then make plays off of that so um i think it's awesome i really do we got a lebron stat since 1970 only two players have scored multiple touchdowns in four of their team's first five games of the season that is a leblon stat that It is a LeBron stat, and that is Calvin Johnson Jr. and Kenneth Walker III. Nice, nice, nice. 2011 for Calvin. Travis, you might have a Lebron stat as well with four catches from yesterday. Travis reached exactly 1,100 career regular season receptions, just the seventh player ever and only the third tight end in NFL history. Ooh. Yeah, I played for a long time. mahomes also tied for fastest quarterback to reach 100 wins tied tom brady wow it's a good we got a tie he's a pretty good winner football games yep post game said the struggles last year put football into perspective and reminded him to just have fun when he's out there let's take a look at this link i mean last year to me put this football in perspective like we we've played in some we had played in so many super bowls and um especially those last few it's like we kind of i don't want to say coasted but we didn't play our best football in the regular season and we just turned on the playoffs and um even last year when stuff wasn't going right i was like it was like we're gonna figure it out like it's just gonna happen i think today it's for me it's about the process and and having to go through that rehab process and not play football it's really made me enjoy the process of it and enjoy practicing and enjoy just being in the building and um getting here game day and getting to play at arrowhead and so um i try to have fun out there and enjoy the wins because you never know when it's gonna be your last one um and you want to take advantage of every opportunity you get to step on the field and so um i think last year in general put everything in perspective for me to just have fun when you're out there yeah i mean i i get it i just think um i always would have like uh you know coaches like man we just got to go have fun or like just enjoy the moment it's like if we're getting our ass kicked it ain't gonna be fun i don't want you want me to tell you like it fun is directly correlated with whooping somebody's ass like if you're getting your ass there's nothing you're a psychopath there's nothing more infuriating than losing and seeing teammates happy and go lucky and just like and i've been there i've been i'm like listen i'm i'm a glass half full glass is always full kind of guy and you know i've had to catch myself like man we got to get back to the fucking drawing board man yeah and it's just it's it's a shitty feeling when you lose man and i think that that that sour taste in our mouth that that you just heard pat mahomes talking about right there everybody in the fucking building felt that yeah you know and it wasn't just you know the players and coaches man it was everybody inthebuilding and uh i'm just glad that you know we uh we took the necessary steps and and took the unnecessary mindset to to be able to to not get caught in that mode and uh and and to find a way to enjoy the game of football the way that we know how so she said to seattle for the kenneth walker homecoming rematch game not even rematch just the game for obviously he won a super bowl there last year was your ball mvp now in the chief's uniform seahawks fans were at arrowhead this week apparently do you know this trip i did not i did not know this that's great that's good no way seattle is a place uh i don't know if i've won in seattle it is a tough place to fucking play man you go up there that northwest with those 12s flying around man and especially this year's team they always have a good defense this team is they got a little bit of bully ball mentality it's a tough team they fly around kind of in your face all the time um especially on the defensive side and and we know how good sam darnold is and jackson smith and jingba and um i got nothing but a ton of respect for them and obviously uh cooper cup our guy uh friend of the show they're three and three the defending champs three and три they're gonna fucking be pissed you know if they're not already they're gonna be coming they're going to come out and and we're gonna have probably our biggest challenge already to date uh and and and We gotta we gotta go to work this week man we gotta figure some things out um really you know dot our i's and cross our t's to make sure that we're fucking ready for this and um and and you know i'm excited for the challenge baby there's nothing better than than than playing the best or playing the team that won at last and uh getting it getting an opportunity to really challenge yourself and the guys around you to go up into a hostile environment that we know seattle is and get a win then yeah i mean listen there it's a very difficult place to play there's only two teams that i didn't beat in the history of my career trev do you know the two teams seattle steelers the other one is going to blow your mind but it's it's an afc team which i only played like three times i think but not the steelers no browns it is the afc north we did beat the browns no we beat the Browns i was there um it's got a there's only one team left then well there's two but the bangles bangles are the ones wow never beat cincinnati that's best the best best well we only played them like three times i think in my career but best we ever did was tied them ew i know gross i don't know if that was my last year second to last year but yeah tied cincinnati and never beat seattle had a chance my last year and honestly i'm the reason we lost because i freaking moved the ball a little bit forward on the quarterback sneak and they called a false start it was that game it's that game we were pretty much if we would have scored that drive it would have ended it pretty much so don't be so hard on yourself honey thank you to our presenting There hasn't even been a play. Like, everybody's had it, but there's just been a recurring pattern. And eventually, man, I know that there's been so many guys in and out, but you have to overstate communication. You have to make sure the one thing we can't have when backups are in the game is guys not doing their assignments, not being on the same page. Like, all of those things have to be at a premium because we're playing with guys that typically don't have the physical traits that the starters do. I get that it's a hard situation. I get the coach has been put in bad situations with all the injuries and guys in and out of the lineup. But it has to be better than what it has been. And it's on – all these guys need to be throughout the week, overstate the communication, overstate where we're going. It's been a very frustrating game to watch the last three weeks. And two of them they should have won. Like they were right there to win. Yeah. So it's a frustrating time to be an Eagles fan and watching this team right now offensively play football. The biggest story around Philly outside of the struggles on the field is obviously Jalen Hurts. Jalen Hurt's starting quarterback in a terrifying situation from afar and hearing about what he's going through. um not really understanding you know what that world means in terms of uh blood clots and and things that that are going on with him health-wise um it just all sounds very terrifying and uh are i think we're all rooting for jaylen to get as healthy as possible um asap um yeah the eagles have finally came out with some statements and we're starting to kind of get caught up on on things that the the protocols that were taken and things that have happened and the eagles have had one statement they've released a sheet and that's that's kind of what they've stuck to they really haven't offered and it's like nick sirianni did a press conference yesterday i don't know what he did on the radio or anything today so maybe this has changed but they're really sticking with the statement that was released by the team and jalen hertz's representatives listen people just want answers because i think this is obviously a very serious situation people want to know that jalen hertz was uh received the adequate and responsible medical advice and precautions given the circumstances and there's questions and i think the media is doing their responsibility by asking these questions i think fans obviously have a desire to know uh you know what all went in place to at the end of the day put Jalen Hurts in a very serious scary position of having blood clots and now being out for the full year so understandable that the fans and media want these answers the Eagles are sticking to this statement probably because they want to make sure that they are saying everything correctly and in the appropriate way Nick Sirianni did say something today it looks like I didn't see this what's it say here Trev Nick Siriani today said you can say a lot of things about me but what you can't say is i don't care about our guys you aren't around every day to truly understand that and you only hear our words uh but ask our guys listen i there's i am not a medical doctor uh there are a lot of other people that are not medical doctors that are offering perspectives on this that i think is a little bit negligent into assigning blame or assigning malpractice or assigning whatever like there's a lot happening right now if there's one thing i will vouch for i'll vouch for nick sirianni in this and i'll vote for the doctor like the doctors that i know that work with the eagles treated me phenomenally in my time in philadelphia i don't know what the proper procedure is it does seem like the egos followed a protocol for superficial blood clots. And unfortunately, this thing developed, whether it was a result of Jalen playing in the game, or whether it resulted in these flights. I have no idea. Now, it looks terrible because of what ended up resulting. The one thing I wish would have happened in hindsight is I wish they would have done a scan after the game. Because it does appear like the thing that really had a major impact in this is the flights. Like that does appear to have an impact with everybody because you're sitting there you're not moving the pressure has some way of it like affecting the the blood flow and all this other stuff a matter of fact when you have these blood clots supposedly if they're not dangerous they advise you being physically active like it's supposedly good because you want your blood to continue moving you don't want it clotting more whatever regardless i just wish there was more medical doctors speaking on this with actual evidence and understanding of it i and i know it's different for each case like it it matters where the blood clot was how big it was how close it was to these other arteries and at the end of the day it developed into something that in hindsight nobody would have wanted this to get to this point so it looks bad and um i feel for jalen hurts i mean this dude has been a warrior in philadelphia and for this to be you know what it's gotten to is terrible right it sucks um I don't know if the protocols will change moving forward. Maybe the medical community has learned something from this. I have no idea. But I do think and know that the medical doctors that I know in Philadelphia, I have always trusted them and I would still trust them. And I do know that Nick Sirianni cares about his guys deeply. That is for sure. I can't even fathom this happening, let alone it happening overseas. um you know i could him having to leave the the hotel the night before to to get some uh scans done um i mean this is just this is it's crazy stuff man and tom pelissero released a report about like the sleep in 36 hours and then he retracted it i i it feels very hard to offer any type of legitimate critique or uh you know uh backing of what happened because you just don't know the details well do you want to at least uh we can speak from kind of just the player's standpoint of um and talk talk through the to the 92 percenters about how medical testing is done maybe not this specific type or how self-reporting injuries uh can happen in the league it's very seldom that i that something happens in the game and i have to come back a couple days later to report it to the team if they didn't already know about it during the game yeah you know and and that's that's always a little eye-opening i think uh from the doctor standpoint you know because it's something that you know um maybe snuck up on somebody or it's it's something a little more serious than than the player thought during the game um and that sounds like what what the initial uh cause of this uh calf injury was for jaylen well the yeah the initial cause was the week before right he was cleated and he noticed some pain in his calf before the flight they flew he got the ultrasound and that's when they found the superficial blood clot it was then advised by the doctors in place i don't know which doctors it's just saying doctors i don'T know if these are team doctors these are experts in this specific field uh advised that it was okay for him to play the game and to re-scan 72 hours later and it seems depending on where the blood clot is and it's uh you know where it is located in relation to other major blood vessels whatnot that that is a like a standard procedure and i'll say i was calling the game like i there was something very weird happening before the game and the fact that you know for warm-ups Jalen didn't come out right away for warmups like he got added late in the week to the injury report for the calf and I remember thinking that's weird like to be added this late like typically you don't see guys added that late with soft tissue stuff so I made a note of that and then all of a sudden before the gain he's not coming out for warmup so I'm like man this calf might be more serious than they're letting on like maybe this is something like it's a it's like a legitimate injury and then before the before the game he wasn't even out there for the national no way the entire other the entire team was out there and jay and we're in the the producers are in our year saying like yeah jalen hurts isn't on the field i'm like what is what's going on right now this feels very strange so man it felt weird before the Game um they didn't do a lot of quarterback runs and a lot of like tush pushes or anything they did none of it and i thought in my head i'm just like maybe this calf injury is bigger than they're kind of making it out to be and then a couple days later they kind of let loose with all this stuff and i'm like oh my god i wish they would have re-scanned him after the game to see if the blood clot had moved as a result of football because right now because they didn't do it after the Game they did it after the flight with the way it's developed no one knows did this move as a result of him playing football or did it move as A result of the flight and like if it was removed if it moved as a result of playing football is there a different procedure that should have been followed and in the future is there A different way we should handle these things for players so that they don't develop into like occurrences like this it does like for most of the medical people that I've seen talking about it they do say that it's it's rare that if this was in a specific spot and the way they handled it that it would develop into what it developed i just it feels like if they would have just had that one scan after the football game it would have made the decision of playing him clear of whether that was the cause of what moved this blood clot and then we would know whether he should have got on the flight back home all of these things we have this question in the in the rundown I think yeah how much say do players have and whether they play or not I think to an extent something like this from what I've been in in Kansas City the doctors have always been more on the line of caution and not playing if it is a serious case in terms of soft tissue stuff things like a rolled ankle things like that like that aren't like as detrimental or could possibly be you know a bigger injury or something like that that's life-threatening i i think they'll they'll kind of let the player give his intake a little bit more and kind of persuade but at the at the same time i i can't remember a time where it's something serious and a guy is being forced to go out there and play usually it's the complete opposite what you're saying the precaution becomes like significant like if you have a broken rib they won't let you play because there's a chance if you don't have a fractured rib they won' t let you play there's the chance that rib could break and then puncture an internal organ um if you have like a neck uh fracture like or a neck like small thing they won they don't mess around with like spinal things anything with the heart um uh ryan clark like uh tomlin came on yeah last week on this show and talked about they wouldn't let ryan play in denver because of the sickle cell trait and the fact that if he had if he started bleeding something severe could have happened at altitude so that is typically the way i've always seen the doctors in philadelphia handle things and around the league orthopedic and like having a knee or an ankle or a shoulder things that are not life-threatening it's more on the player of like hey you're this is where you're at it's kind of about how you feel if you want to go you can or hey we don't think you should go that's completely different this stuff is like usually usually they do not clear guys unless they feel very very confident that it's not a life-threatening thing or something that could develop into that which is why this is so crazy because it's like you know it did develop into something that is life-Threatening I think in terms of the are there independent doctors who weigh in or it's just team doctors it's it's got to be more than one especially in a serious matter like this now you bring up a good point because like with something this serious you would think this would be a secondary opinion deal from jalen's team as well like you know most very severe injuries at this point in the league players will get second opinions from other medical doctors and orthopedic people it's almost like your agent just naturally does that like like anytime i got like something serious jb uh jason bernstein would be like hey we're going to send this to you know dr millet because he knows elbows or shoulders or whatever hey we're gonna send this for that so i it is this whole situation is you know horrible like obviously you know jalen is out for the season he's out for his extended period of time and more importantly that this was something that could have turned into something life-threatening and thankfully from all the indications that are coming out now it appears like everything is stable it isn't life-threatening he's going to go on the blood thinners now and it should be something that he recovers from they're saying um so all of that is outstanding news and i think the thing that everybody should be happy that he's gonna be okay um but yeah i do understand the desire for more answers and people whining to find out what all went into it and was it handled properly i think that's only natural um so my heart's in our uh and our minds are with you jaylen man hopefully you get healthy as soon as possible man this is just a bump in the road for you brother we got a tweet from uh parkinson mike's jay jason we eagles fans need your honesty desperately all right the nfc east is very winnable it's very winnnable still it is it is well i i listen the nfs is winnible i don't think the eagles fan or eagles are going to be happy winning a bullshit division that everybody sucks in and sneaking into the playoffs. I think that, you know, the Eagles, from what the expectations were coming into the season and where the team is, I think, want to be competing for Super Bowls. Like, I know I'm not going to be happy if the Eagles sneak in with like a 500 record and make the playoffs because Dallas, Washington, and the Giants fucking shit the bed. But what if you get healthy throughout that 500 record and all of a sudden the playoff, you finally get things clicking? Well, that's the different thing. And that's what they're asking. Is the season lost? like listen it is not good right now but there are guys that are going to get healthy we're going to get Saquon Barkley back we're gonna get uh Tank Bigsby back we'RE gonna hopefully this offensive line with more reps we'll divide the system back this week hopefully with more reps with the offensive line they will be getting a better cohesion and we'll be on the same page better um I think uh Tanner McKee obviously in his first start um had some good plays didn't play great had a lot of pressure at times uh hopefully he can continue to develop into a rhythm now with jaylen out for a substantial time so listen the defense has been playing pretty darn well outside of the chicago game and when you have a great defense you're going to be in games if they can get this thing going just a little bit better offensively they don't even have to be a top tier offense with the way this defense is playing at times just don't put them continually in bad spots um you know i think that the eagles can be absolutely turn this around um now with every loss it gets less and less optimistic uh but you know I I still think they have good players in that building and you just gotta like listen it's gonna take work it's going to take these coaches these players everybody coming together to continue to take care of the things that are controllable the first play of the game guys going the wrong way that shouldn't happen and that should be the emphasis that's and i know it is i know nick is going to be in the team meeting saying this is unacceptable take care of the little things like assignment proper technique everybody being on the same page that is half of this thing even the offensive line like listen guys are going out and battling there's worse offensive lines from a player to player standpoint in the league right now it is really a lot of it is just like a guy here not going the right way a I hear kind of getting undercut by the linebacker, like the running back, not being accountable on this play, like not knowing where the play action guy is with the tight end slicing back. Like it's, that's, what's frustrating is like, it does feel like a lot of it is correctable, but at some point, unless it gets corrected, you continue to lose faith in it. So the optimistic side of me says like, okay, just take care of the little things and the offense is going to be functioning at a much better level the the side that is growing that is pessimistic is like well why aren't we fixing these things and i get that there's guys in and out of the lineup and that creates it harder to fix those things that we're talking about yeah but you know that's what you need we we need to see improvement in that area desperately as fans and as people watching it and the eagles need to improve in those areas as well one of my favorite sayings by uh coach b enemy is you got to give yourself we have to give ourselves a chance to have a chance it's it's such a football like yeah no matter which way you say it right yeah and it but it's literally and it you you got To be able to do the little things that you know you can control like Jason's saying the formational stuff the the you know the assignment stuff are we going to the right people do we have the right technique going to how can we control what we do to give ourselves the best chance and you'd be surprised if you just give yourself a fucking chance how good you can fucking be in the league and um i know last year when we were struggling we weren't giving ourselves a fucking change i was the fucking first one dropping passes that were right in the fucking bread basket yeah we've all been there and it's but that's what i'm saying and it'S things like that that you just got to find a way to you know fix those things correct those things change the fucking routine monday through friday change what you're doing change change how you're watching film change how your how you'RE working on you know your footwork in practice do do something different and extra to try and find the the the flaw and fix the flaw i know this when you have guys in and out when you're or even when you don't have guys in that when there are issues like what the eagles have been having i am going to overstate communication like i am going to make it obvious i don't give a fuck if the defense knows i don'T GIVE A SHIT i want to make sure that the fucking right guard and right tackle know where they're going so i'm gonna fucking tell everybody i'm gonna fuck this guy knows it's a d slip i'm going to tell you d slip to 50 fucking two don't fucking run around and let him undercut you because they fucking have done it on film i'm to tell the fucking quarterback hey this is the point and the quarterback it knows who he's hot off of you tell the fucking receiver hey side adjust if this guy comes fucking turn it into whatever there's doggone dude you're gonna be the hell of a fucking ball coach when you want to man whenever you sign up for that fucking opportunity dude you'll be a hell of above well new legend of the seas sailing november 2026 from fort lauderdale florida visit royalcaribbean.com to learn more let's get to the rest of week six there are still three undefeated teams travis the chiefs vikings who had a bye this week and the niners who almost lost washington kind of almost came back yeah you got to see that one firsthand it was all niners in the first half washington kind of mounted somewhat of a comeback attempt there late um winless are the dolphins and chargers thanks to uh partly the kansas city chiefs for keeping the chargers under on unwinding unwindable unwind unwind winless is better winless titans got their first win of the season against the colts uh in probably the most like impressive winning way colts immediately fired gm uh chris ballard do you see this the colks were really they were in control of the game and then it really was like three possessions back to back to black where they had a i think a fumble then they had a punt return that was huge and then they Had a blocked punt for a touchdown the punt return team won the game for the titans which how about it man special teams doesn't play a huge factor all of a sudden it's winning games jacksonville against the eagles last week titans this week i love it when special teams gets involved fuck yeah dan patrick said they are looking at peyton manning but who knows peyten manning gm peyden manning what do you think trev i mean yeah if they can get them i would are you fucking kidding me like teaming up with peyson manning on in the football world why why the fuck wouldn't you it worked one time um and one of the most brilliant fucking football minds there are yeah it just seems like he's buttoned up and everything in life and i mean him being a gm definitely fucking fits the mold i i had heard that they were going to try and get him to help with like the search of the gym i did not know they were actually looking at him uh but yeah i mean like i don't think there's a chance that hell payton takes it but if he does that's that's a no-brainer it's a big job man it's big job and he does a lot of stuff obviously with esbn and um old omaha productions so who knows if uh if that's something that's uh appealing to him man hopefully carly ursae is working the phone lines that's for sure what else we got are they more surprised uh by the rams losing to the cardinals rams are two and four cardinals are four and two so are we more surprised about the rames being at the bottom of the nfc west or the browns being atop the afc north oh what's more surprising i think the brown rams i think the rounds dude the rams were supposed to win the super bowl before the season like they had the they had this monster team i hear they're both surprising yeah and don't get me don't gets me wrong there's everybody's still in like this thing you know it's two and four and only six games in but and the entire season ahead of them but at the same time if you would have told me the rames are two and forward at this point or the browns were four and two i would have been like dude the ram's having a losing record six games and i would have never guessed i i would have never guessed either of them i agree with you i think the rams being two and four is shocking last time the browns were in first place uh in week six or later was week 10 of 2014 this is why dude i thinkthebrowns is more surprising that they're forward two and that they're atop the afc north i i just like after the first game especially i did not think the browns might win one game like they looked atrocious in that first game i hear you and listen we found out since then that jacksonville is just a really good football team but i i just don't think the browns winning this year was on anybody's bingo card all of the drama between shador sanders and deshaun watson who's going to be the quarterback the way the defense looked that first week miles garrett leaving todd monkey was under a lot of criticism people talking about him getting that job to begin with um i think it's an incredible testament to munkin and what the browns have been able to do since then to be at the top of the afc north now they listen they beat the the ravens yesterday who didn't have lamar jackson like whatever the browns had been overachieving by quite a bit and i did not see that happening there was no vibe to me that that was going to happen whatsoever i got you rams are still third in offense they're third in defense they're the first team i believe potentially in nfl history that is top three in offense and defense and has it started off the year with a two and four record or something like that what as there was a top three their top three offense and defence that doesn't make any fucking sense at all here's where it makes sense is the turnovers some crucial penalties like they've just done a lot of their kicker that they've cut was like what five for nine thicker the kicker whatever his name was they've done a great job of killing themselves this season so far but they're still a good football team right unfortunately they just lost uh davante adams for six to ten weeks which is gonna fucking suck they still have guys like puka and well here's the reality the the ramp should be running the football more anyways like that's one of the reasons that they're struggling is they aren't fucking committed they're they're getting yardage in the run game and they're just going away from it. I don't know what they're trying to do, but it's not great. Yeah, the Rams are ranked third in total offense, third in totally defense this season, only team to be ranked in top five in both. They're two and four in last place in the UC West. Holy fucking shit. That's crazy, man. Well, speaking of Rams kickers, you talked about them replacing their kicker that was started this season for five and four, thicker the kicker or five and nine, thicker the Kicker. Well, they went out and got a guy and he got absolutely smoked and didn't make it past the game. We probably shouldn't be joking about this because he got hurt on this play, but. Yeah, he did. Didn't he tear his ACL? Respect the kicker whenever they want to go in for a hit. I will say, you got to throw it in between the spokes, wheel spokes there. You shouldn't me going up high, Groupie. You got to go. You're like ankle biting at that point, right? We got to know our size, our speed, our strengths and weaknesses. But I respect the fight, bud. For sure. All right, do we want to talk about anything else in Week 6? Bears gave up the jumping jack variation of the quarterback sneak. Did you see this one? I have not. Jumping jack? Yeah, baby. Let's show this one. Up by 8, 246 to go. Third one. They go extra long and hard to miss. With Ozzie Capillo. Capillo waving his arms. He's going to sneak it. Caleb Williams gets it in his lap. Why the fuck did he? Go back to this. Let me see it from the beginning. Up by eight, 247 to go, third one. what does he say so the only reason that i can see that you would do this and it's interesting so one of the reasons we would go tackle over in short yardage quarterback sneak situations is because trav as you know when when you move a tackle and go unbalanced right so go go back to the pause at the beginning of this when it's behind you pause right there right so 79 here is the one that's going to go in motion to the right side which is going to put we call it unbalanced there's going gonna be three offense alignment to the center's right and there's gonna be one offense alignment two is left so the line is stronger to the right side and what defense is due to adjust to this is they call it one over they're gonna treat the right guard like he's the center now because that is the middle of the strength of the offensive line so all of the defense alignment are going to move according to the new that's usually what they do they did not do that but one of the reasons i liked doing this in these situations is what defenses want to take away in quarterback sneak situations are the a gaps right on either side of the center because that quarterback is usually going into one of those well if they move over one player because a tackle has moved over now the a gaps for the defense has changed so you might free up an a gap because you've gone one over and if teams don't adjust you do what caleb williams does right here and he just goes to the stronger so he's not going to the left here he's going to the big edge behind darnell right and some mountain dean people over here on the right so i think it's a pretty good design i think he's waving his arms probably to try and get them almost to go one over or to just distract them from the fact that a sneak might be happening right that's the other thing is like just kind of dress up a quarterback sneak make it look a little bit different so they're not selling all out on it i think teams should go back to running sneaks like this rather than telegraphing it with the tush push i think the The 49ers do a great job of it where they motion, use check, and sometimes he'll go push. The problem with the tush-push formation is if teams have gotten so much better at defending it and hunkering down in those A-gaps, you get better advantageous looks when you just run it out of a normal formation like this. Like if a team lines up in a bare front with a head-up nose, we should be able to sneak this and get it darn near every time. Every time, yeah. It's when both the A- gaps are occupied where it becomes very difficult. and if you line up in a touch push formation you're going to get that alignment uh so anyways just something i'm keeping an eye on i was like i might be on board with going back to how we used to do quarterback sneaks anyways ravens lined up tight end josh however you say that was it cuevas cuevas at guard but off the line of scrimmage so he was eligible let's take a look at this you've seen this i have not yeah he absolutely fucking smart the mic here bink oh my gosh he took off i love it pretty good way to hide it it's it's creative have not been working on that one i mean that tight end set him up on this fucking perfect it looks like they're running outside zone to the left and he's got the mic and it's almost like a lead like a yep like a strong lead and he just hit him underneath it was i mean that's a hell of a move it's its almost as if the the backer i don't know the backers eyes was just in the backfield it seemed like he was like playing him at first i think it's what you're saying is and this is you know who else does a really good job of this is george kittle and this goes to like the way you run routes you always say like i'm not just going to run the line on the page right yeah i'm going to set it up and go to the space or whatever george does this a lot i've noticed too you know when you're running a naked and you have like an over out some guys will just run the over route but i'll see george sometimes he'll like make eye contact with the player that he would be blocking if they were running power or uh whatever to that side same eye and he'll he'll almost like duck himself get his hands up and then slip by him and that's what this looks like like how does the mic know whether this guy's going to block me for outside zone and if he's gonna block me i gotta gotta try and beat him over the top i gotta get to my gap yeah yeah and then all of a sudden he slips them it does look like it kind of has that feel like he looks like he's running a outside zone blocking line and then getting off into this i don't even know i mean it's kind of like an over route but you're doing it from inside yeah it's an over route yeah exactly it's it's over out but you know it's not it's like a it's a it it's doing it for like the a gap which is kind of fucking weird uh but really cool design this is awesome from baltimore trav you want to play a little guard let's get you a guard man i'll play whatever you need as long as it's as long as you're giving me that over route I'm in as long As you're getting me to that backer or give me that open route I mean you see the gym Nance peanut punch with JJ this is pretty good it's jacked his fist up man it looks like he's messing with it but I also like kind of knowing Jim Nance I don't think he is I think he's probably being serious here jj demonstrating the class pan technique yeah he gave it a good punch he gave him a good punch he did no he could see it on his face he that was it hurt it was legit he's like god why did i just do that that hard why did I hit that so hard knowing this guy like jj if anybody's got the best ball security in the world this jj's biceps and fucking like hands how big that dude is a lot of points of contact there is no there are no yeah there's no weakness in that ball security so jj is demonstrating right there what we call the class pan go back right there to when he's got the right hand over it this is interesting to me because the way i was taught growing up and i wonder how many people watching this you used to be taught the full i'm trying to think of like what the full cradle like what did it used to Be called five points of pressure no but you used To be taught this was where you held the ball when you were in the open field when you got into traffic get two hands on the ball and they used to grab like both points like this and you that would be the position what they used to teach way back when man i've never in a fucking million years ever grabbed the ball like this well when i played fullback in middle school that's the way you were taught if you go back and watch old clips that was the way they thought and like was more secure i know that's how you receive the ball i know that's how you receive the wall but go back and watch i hear you i can see it was what used to be taught i hear ya but it's not as good you actually have some space because you still can get this ball away from your body holding it like that and it can still go down so now they teach the class band which is you get that thing here you have it's contacting the bicep the hand has the claw on it the forearms touching it it's against your body and then all this arm does is just pulls it in to make it a little bit more secure so it doesn't separate because that's when most of the time when you fumble and tell me if i'm wrong travis it's when that ball just gets away from the body just a little bit right yeah it's either away fromthebody this way or you open the back gate all can now get punched out that way and go down so that's why you really want to pin that elbow and keep that they call it chin in the football you just want to keep that thing right here just yeah that does it for bold topics brought to you by american express let's get you a little out of the house jason got out of house who doesn't came out to kansas city out ofthehouse is brought toyou by nike and uh nike was part of the reason jason was in kansas city jason you want to tell people it was it was how the new heights tailgated arrowhead arrowhead was uh it was awesome listen we had a huge try it was packed traffic was it packed with pigs did we get pigs we didn't get pigs uh get that cleared in the short time frame maybe next time maybe next time we can get some pigs in there get some uh we had like a knockout area with the basketball hoop we had some long snapping thing i think we need more space than we're allotting for that if we're going to do that kind of stuff it was very tight kansas city they'll start the to you know packed the the gates to get into the tailgate the night before like they were not fucking around with tailgate and the space is definitely limited or right around that area of the stadium it was packed and it was very uh it's prime real estate too we were really close to the stadium it was uh it was awesome it was a lot of 92 percenters were there a lot OF people with swag from throughout the years it's cool seeing like you know the old green hats or stuff from early on being referenced like it was it was really awesome seeing a lot of the people especially the guys and girls that were felt like they've been 92 percenters for a long time there are people from all over the world a lotof canadians i don't know what that was about do you know there's so many canadian chiefs fans shout out to uh laurent duvernay tardif our canadian guy that's the one guard yes the doc dr laurent um man i haven't talked to my guy larry in a minute man uh i'm i'm sure it just like is typical sports fans i'm not sure if larry's the the sole reason they they're they're chiefs fans but um yeah who knows a lot of them did claim to be swifties so that would also track well there you go yeah they're she's got some fans up north how many chiefs friends have been added because of taylor i i mean i will say this it that i have a lot more i have a lot more people coming up to me um expressing their like not necessarily their love for the chiefs but um their um what am i what words am i trying to use travis use your words expressing their stories of them and their daughters having a moment of watching football together and that has been um undoubtedly the majority of people that come up to me that talk football just off the street um so i get a lot of thanks for that uh which is pretty cool i didn't have that one on the card when i started dating tay let alone uh asked her to marry me but it's uh it's been pretty cool to see the the influx of um of chiefs fans you know outside of all the super bowl appearances and all that well they were out in grow and in droves at the uh 92 percenters tailgate at arrowhead we had a couple tweets brand you want to pull those up what are these tweets oh yeah look at that snout what does it say if only i could transport my piggins to the tailgate i so would i mean look at this face look there is something about a pig that is just adorable what plus they taste delicious look at that snout that is adorable you're hilarious i think i don't know i'm kind of the pigs look at the pigs are a great animal that's where washington went wrong they went with commanders once they switched from redskins they should have gone to the hogs they they fucked that up so bad gone pig skins hogs pig skins any of that all of those would have been better oh my gosh i don' t know what it is i'm just not in on pigs man well this is a pretty gross one oh they're just sleeping it's me the pig lady from the mother's day episode oh i hear there is a request for pigs dude hashtag skin children i don't know what that means well listen yeah we like we said we played knockout we had a snap competition we were how's our how's our knockout game nowadays jason i haven't seen that since probably i didn't play i didn' t play i was not gonna be good though i was bricking to start throwing up some shots but the uh the the contestants were not very good either it was pretty atrocious knockout oh you should have got in there man got some got some legal interference some legal interface you know i'm talking about yeah there you go as soon as the first shot goes up and it hits the and it fits the rim yes yeah i am i'm i'm using my ball to hit your ball yes yeah whoops no not even whoops That's on purpose. That's all fair game in my book. It's knockout. There were some prizes given out. We gave out some Caitlin Clark Ones as Nike was the official sponsor. Some fine contestants walked away with some incredible shoes. What else? We gave away some merch. There were Some Awesome Shirts designed for the tailgate itself. A little snap competition. You guys out there snapping? That was one thing that, again, the contestants were terrible at. I think I would have gone 100 for 100. I mean, it was the easiest snap competition of all time. I think they might have hit like two. it was something crazy it was not great we've seen you in a snap competition before jason would you have gone one-handed again uh this would have been i mean it was like a five-yard snap so i could have done this one one-headed nice but i was going to dj donna uh played ghostbusters for me so we got little ghostbushers karaoke chugged a beer with someone who uh had a fantasy football punishment they lost so they had to chug it they're losing punishment was to chugg a beer with me which oh no obliged yeah oh no we were also doing some no-dumb questions with the crowd if you got if the crowd deemed it accurate enough you got a beer we did some shots from all over if you made a shot beyond the sticks you got to beer so we were we're having fun it was it was a good time out there at the tailgate and uh we got another one we're doing in philly in november uh what do we want to do with the next one trav what do you think what would be fun to do what's some good philly stuff man um i mean obviously you did the belly bucking last year belly buckling last year was a banger um do you go uh you remember do you remember having the blow-up uh sumo suits at like a county fair oh my gosh yes that's always a binger man seeing people seeing two brothers put on a a big sumo suit and and see who can push the other one out that's always good the jousting we used to do at the county fair um stuff like that is always epic i will say some of these so this is our third one what we'll have done what's noticeable the tailgates is we don't get as much space as i would like to do these kind of activities yeah it's like the belly bucking is like very tight then the like the knockout and the snapping competition is not a lot of room to do not enough room to really do that in a meaningful way so like it's got to be something that you can do in space and you don't have to worry about the surface so that's where the sumo one starts to give me concern you could do like an eating competition that might be electric um like a pie eating competition or you got to eat the pie without your hands there's got to be something there's a what's a it's a december it's november what's a november philly pie well november pie just in general would be like pumpkin pie right but i don't know um philadelphia you do like a stocks a stocks pound cake eating competition that actually might be electric i kind of think that would be good i mean cheesecake is like the it's like the obviously you're going to do a cheesecake eating competition so like what's something we could do to be a little bit different roast pork eating competition or a stocks pound cake eating competition i love cheesesteaks i think the cheesecake is too stereotypical we gotta do something more creative than a cheessteak there's more things about philadelphia than just cheesecakes what about uh did you ever try the uh who could climb the grease pole we haven't done it i mean they they do do that in south philly that'd be electric but i don't think we'll have the space for that and probably some liability things that might limit the ability to do a grease pole climbing competition but it would be fun to just put a grease pole in the center of that motherfucker and a prize at the top and whoever gets to the top gets to keep i put ten thousand dollars at the time of the grease pole and if you can get to the time with that motherfucker you get to keep it that'd be great uh either way we'll think of some fun ideas for the november philadelphia eagles tailgate and uh all the 92 percenters out there in the philly area are the the ones going to that philadelphia game in november uh if you got any suggestions you know we're always open ears over here oh yeah well once again out of the house is brought to you by nike all right let's see this top 10 brandon let's go with the top 10 here we're gonna start in baltimore kyle hamilton it's a good player good player heard his name before i can play some ball sean watson on the roll he'll throw short at all oh my god that's football right there baby how are we feeling kyle hampton on the stop i mean we it's good we got sean wanson man i mean come on also also i mean the running back we gotta we can't just be falling upfield not knowing who's there i actually had a very similar situation in our game uh like this um and it's i mean when that you get you get absolutely smoked out of nowhere like this it'll wake you up real quick for sure we gotta just you know just have a little bit of awareness we gotta know we're coming out here right here when we're hitting this flat we gotta know kyle hamilton's he's out there he was there when i last put my head around he's probably still there that's what i'm saying kyle we gotta catch that and then don't get me wrong you still gotta catch the ball you just don't want to be leaning upfield not looking upfield you want to kind of stop that momentum upfield turn around and like find the best case scenario to get that's a big hit um but i think we got some more uh yeah big time plays i'd say this i could say seven i was thinking seven as well okay all right we're gonna go to giants saints arville reese using an o-lineman to make a tackle the ninth play of this new orleans drive oh shit just kind of hits him with his left shoulder and throws him to the side you know hell of a play hell of it is it's shut out and and fellow clevelander or at least went to high school at glenville so i'm a fan of them i'ma fan of him what are you throwing jason i said i said the last i'd say nine nine yeah it sounds about like it's a good play but it's a good not a top play i guess all right we're gonna go to jags texans tight end nate boyer kirker one-handed grab he has boar couture or couturier nate's boy couturer boar or a boar nate boar kutcher i believe that's correct i know on the first try thanks to editing first try trevor sells it perfectly let's give mj stewart to save a little bit of credit he now that's a that's an impressive play i mean that with a guy hanging on him and it's not even like a it's a full-on like secured catch yeah that's what makes it even more impressive with the one-hander what do you think five yeah one-handed catch is a nice one i think i think we got some more juice i think there's another one-headed catch so it might have been more of a highlight all right we're gonna go to tennessee colts this was the oh no this is an interception on tennessee calls this is a toe tap interception will keep it himself and on the move throw oh no way he got his toes in he tapped him stayed in bounds stayed in bounce i did not see it i mean that's good concentration that's a good concentration right there you know always get a toe tap from a db man you don't always get the toe taps from the dbs that's solid right there that's a solid top tenor right there i'll give it a nice six you don'T think that's above the one hander i think that's about the one handler all right four four all right four you guys are you're hedging now you're hedgeing the top all right uh we're gonna go to arizona los angeles this is a scoop and not score on the two-point conversion oh damn eddie yeah big fella oh oh you gotta turn you gotta just you gotta trust that you don't have the speed oh he tried the second spin god damn he should have lateraled it though why are we not i'm not gonna lie i'm not gonna lying we gotta get we gotta get it we gotta we gotta get these sprinting spectators body on body right here we got about five arizona defensive players right here not getting a body on a body doing shit damn it that's what i'm saying bro fuck i hear you about the latter that's i know me personally i know travis is throwing that rock speed to go 70 i don't got the speed to go 70 in my day anymore i'm gonna probably wait until i'm down field a little bit further to lateral it like we're gonna get we're going to get this train rolling before i throw it but i mean it's a pretty athletic move to be running full speed i mean he looks good big fella is doing great what's his name i don' t know this uh lj collier lj collier he's looking big lj nifty feet um i i can speak from a big man's perspective ain't no fucking way i'm laddering the ball if i get a chance i'm fucking this is about my time i've been watching you fucking dickheads with the ball enough like the coach is an offensive lineman just bat the ball down don't pick it up and run with it and i'm like i'm picking that i'm picking that bitch up and running with it if i got a chance you're gonna see a highlight actually yeah i'm either gonna get my knee blow out or i'm gonna score a touchdown that can't be the this or that where are we putting him i'll go eight okay we're gonna go back to tennessee indianapolis this is the blocked punt now this is fucking block the titans they have blocked the sanchez kick and that's a titan touchdown you want to talk about tackling a guy with another ball carrier this guy basically blocked the punt with the pp like buddy got destroyed babushka this is the on-field car crash that makes football football man just shit is happening bodies are flying the ball is the doom and then starts fucking flopping around the double the double thumb it's one of my favorite sounds um it's fucking electric i mean that's a fucking great play and it pretty much won in the game fourth quarter this is two or one man you block a punt to win a game that's fucking i don't know i don' t know i can't think of off the top of my head and you hurt the fucking partner and you can put in here that's better than that is it one or two one let's go one fuck it let's get one i can give that that's a respectable one all right one in the game all right well there's a lot of time left on that clock they dwarf through the ppp listen i love don't get mad at me i love the ones i'm just saying i kind of know what's coming i feel like there's another one on here the fucking pp looked like we man fuck it's not we man it was we man when they put him on the um god damn it the airbag seat you guys remember that one when they brought me man on the air bag seat jesus what do you if you get launched like that does anybody say anything to you afterwards on the sideline no they're all talking about it but they usually don't say anything does that come up in film to do coaches show that oh they're definitely gonna bring it up in film for sure i'll be the first one to come up and be like yeah did you guys see this you guys are gonna want to watch that on film i'm breaking the ice right now dude i just got fucking thrown all right we're gonna go back to the london game uh travis hunter playing without a shoe nice nice smart smart what can't he do there's the slant over the middle get loose travis hunter that's a hell of a move no shoes man i'll tell you what man he plays football like he played this game this wasn't just the only play that was this this is insane dog this is an impressive fucking play without a shoe no shoe like he full-on breaks a tackle and stiff arms a dude without a cleat that is incredible like right here this makes that guy miss stiff arm to fucking al shaz is that like what the fuck the move off the line was the crazy was the fucking nastiest move too i i it's three or two man that's a good play watch watch up top right here watch number three yeah and then watch you see the tight end right there go hands up hands up yep gosh you remember when you used to just be able to fucking destroy that dude i really hate that you can't crack back people i think it's the dumbest thing but that's not even like the real like that's like you're going upfield yeah but you canít be going outside in and do it either it sucks as long as you don't hit him in the helmet you should be able to fuck that guy's life um all right that's right three or two i got three that was epic that was that big all right we're gonna keep it moving to buffalo las vegas we've got josh allen making shit fucking happen yeah you're right you're Right this is i mean this is two yeah this is this is a should have been one this is fucking insane what this dude just does here whoop oh yeah i mean what the fuck is that look at him just smiling you guys see that that only happens when you take a smelling salt right before the play man you gotta have some fucking cojones to throw that like that is wild we've seen the five yard like pitch like that i've never seen the 15 yards downfield over over two guys yep this should be one that's gonna be 100 sorry josh i was watching uh our guy chris bermans fastest two minutes um and i could just i had already seen this highlight like 10 times already and i could just feel the whoop coming to whoop i could just feel it coming and he fucking it was so epic six and ten are open the hardest part of the segment is the counting for sure that's why aaron's doing god's work by aaron doing god aaron thank you for paying attention in school um shout out aaron shout out he got to 10 folks shout out baylor university baylor university let's go keep them educated down there we're gonna go with we're gonna go back to no sorry new game we're going to go to eagles panthers oh boy oh my goodness and the flags fly this isn't a play it's not a play I'll veto it I'll go 10 I mean I'll veto it if do we have another two plays we got a bunch it's good it's a good heads up play like that's what we're trying to offensively a little upset that nobody was saying djo you got to know this is a scenario where you might get a hard cap with the point we're gonna veto this the point makes me like it less even more oh my god i like the point i like it i like i like that i like the point all right we'll keep it going then smooth cat it's the smooth cat right there we are going to look at rams run a little pin and pull please watch the blockers oh this is my kind of action now this is what i'm talking about oh 72 getting on the horse good pin and pool get the fat guys out front did we get anybody's on the ground yeah we got one on oh yeah we did we got the mic on the I'll go with 10. I can respect that. I like fat boys running. I like that. It's definitely at best 10. Look at him getting up field. Look at them getting upfield. It's a well-backed play. If he would have scored. If he were to score. I wanted him to house it. I wanted them to house. All right. What do we got? Even with a score, that's a 10. Yeah. They blocked a run play. Top play. They did their jobs. they gave themselves a chance to have a chance we're gonna go to back to bill's raiders trey tucker laying out let's go man a little uc bearcat action let's go baby for those just joining us here is cousins no wow no are you kidding me this is incredible that was fucking nasty i thought jason's reaction was of not my reaction was why the fuck wasn't this one like if we were in the vetoed the uh the offsides thing this wouldn't even have been fucking show that's what makes it the blind rank you get what you get jason yeah this is what makes it the god damn list we did i was told yeah you did that baby shout out to that's a good six that's bad six that thing should have been way what would you put it ahead of i put it above bork it sure i put in above oh the toe touch that toe yeah this is probably two this is three three or three yeah well we blind ranked we didn't get there either way hell of a fucking catch that is your blind rank top 10 of the week tell us what we got wrong tell us What I missed Jason certainly will all righty that wraps up this episode of new heights thank you for tuning in every week that you guys do hope you enjoyed this one we'll see you next time all right now once again new heights wonder show brought to you by nike go out there and get your cc's she's got some fun halloween ones coming up i heard uh follow the show on all social media add new heights show with one s for fun clips throughout the week thanks to the new heights production team for always making us look way better than what we are and uh thanks again to those 92 percenters tuning in see you guys next week that's my guide monster talking about man you got so much aura bro kelsey has someone for him like if i had a son i want to be just like him that's my dog that was great the five man my sewer is funny as fuck for that he's good people man that's good that's some good shit he got he got so much aura to him yeah he got such a great quote that's great that's good shit man I love this squad man we got a good team man everybody fucks with each other that's fun
